Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ postponed due to rising COVID-19 cases and its measures

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor will be seen in the movie Jersey which was earlier scheduled to be released on December 31st  but due to the rising covid 19 cases along with the fears of the Omricon variant, it has been postponed. The makers released a statement that read the release of the film has been postponed due to the “new Coivd guidelines.”

“In view of the current circumstances and new Covid guidelines, we have decided to postpone the theatrical release of our film ‘Jersey’.We have received immense love from you all so far and want to thank you all for everything. Until then everyone please stay safe and healthy, and wishing you all the best for the new year ahead!! Team Jersey!!” the statement read. On top of that Delhi announced a yellow alert on Monday, and closed down the theatres among other measures being taken.

Jersey, as was initially scheduled to release in 2020 asl stars actirs Mrunal Thakur and Oankaj Kapoor, but was postponed amid the first lockdown.This film maker the hindi remake of the Telugu film that starred Nani as the lead role.
